‘Quick Recovery’ Harper Takes Batting Training and ‘Soon to Play in the Minors’

The Philadelphia Phillies, who topped the National League last year, lost all of their opening three games. But there was also some good news outside of the game.

On the 3rd (hereinafter Korean time온라인바카라), NBC Sports reported on the return of Philadelphia’s Bryce Harper, who is undergoing rehabilitation after elbow surgery.

According to this, Philadelphia manager Rob Thompson said Harper will resume batting practice at Citizens Bank Park later this week.

He went on to add that Harper might be able to play in the minor leagues soon. No specific timeline has been set, but Harper’s rehab appears to be going very smoothly.

Philadelphia did not place Harper on the 60-day injured list. That means there’s a very good chance Harper will return within two months of opening.

Harper underwent elbow ligament splicing (Tommy John surgery) last November. The recovery period for a fielder from Tommy John surgery is very short compared to that of a pitcher.

Accordingly, it is certain that Harper will return within the first half at the latest. Harper’s return means the Philadelphia lineup will be complete.

Despite being injured last year, Harper was named MVP with 2 homers and an OPS of 1.250 in 5 games of the National League Championship Series (NLCS) against the San Diego Padres.
