Lotte marks Nakdong River Derby Winning Series.
Lotte won 11-1 against the NC Dinos in the regular season of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at Sajik Stadium in Busan on May 25. With the victory, Lotte recorded a 2-1 win-loss record in the Nakdong River Derby. Lotte improved to 5-1 against NC this season and improved to 24-15 on the season. NC remained at 21-21.
Lotte gathered the momentum and scored in the first inning. Kim Min-seok drew a walk and Ahn Kwon-soo singled up the middle to put runners on second and third with no outs. Jeon Jun-woo then hit a shallow fly ball that no one at first or second could catch. With runners on first and third, Ahn Chi-hong singled to center field. It was a 2-0 lead.
In the third inning, Ko Seung-min led off with a double, Lee Jung-geun singled, and Park Seung-wook walked to put runners on first and third. Then, Kim Min-seok completed a double steal to score another run. It was 3-0.
In the third inning, leadoff hitter Ahn Chi-hong singled to shortstop, Han Dong-hee singled to left, Noh Jin-hyuk walked, and Go Seung-min singled to center. In the bottom of the inning, Lee Jung-geun doubled to left field to extend the lead to 6-0.메이저놀이터 In the second and third innings, Park Seung-wook doubled to center field and Kim Min-seok singled to left field to score two more runs and extend the lead to 8-0. Lotte had already driven a wedge into the game in the third inning.
In the fifth inning, Noh Jin-hyuk doubled to lead off the inning and took advantage of a miscommunication in the NC replay to score from third base. The gap widened to 9-0.
NC scored one run in the top of the eighth inning on back-to-back doubles by Yoon Hyung-joon and Son As-seob, but Lotte scored two more runs in the bottom of the eighth on a wild pitch and a passed ball.

Lotte confirmed its recovery with a second straight win as starter Park Se-woong pitched seven innings of 105 pitches with two hits, one walk and eight strikeouts. At the plate, Jeon Jun-woo and Ko Seung-min had two hits. No one player stood out, but everyone had an even performance, and they scored a run on a balk at the crucial moment to complete the victory.
NC lost an early lead when starter Lee Yong-jun struggled, giving up three runs on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts in two innings. He was followed by Lee Jun-ho, who gave up six runs (five earned) on four hits, two walks and one strikeout in four innings. /jhrae@osen.co.kr
