The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) has decided to suspend the sale of a preservative (preservative) that exceeded the standard in a radish for kelp distributed in the market.

The reason for the recall is that sorbic acid, a preservative, was detected above the standard. The standard for sorbic acid is 1.0 grams per kilogram or less, but 1.2 grams were detected in this product. The testing organization is the Jeollabuk-do Institute of Health and Environment.

The recalled product is packaged in 1 kg units (barcode number 8808271773836) and has a best before date of February 20, 2024.
