Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have reached out to Zinedine Zidane, 50, again.
Zidane achieved many things during his time at Real Madrid, including winning an unprecedented three consecutive Champions League titles. He was relieved of his duties in May 2018 and returned to the club in March 2019 after receiving an SOS from Real. He left the club in May 2021. He has been on a break for the last two years. Rumours of his return continue to circulate. He has been linked with PSG.
“This season, under Christophe Galtier, PSG reached the last 16 of the Champions League. They also made an early exit from the cup competition. The league title is virtually assured, but the club’s hierarchy and fans are unhappy with the results (Champions League). A managerial change is expected this summer.”
A number of names have been thrown around, including Jose Mourinho (AS Roma), Thiago Motta (Bologna), Xabi Alonso (Bayer Leverkusen) and Luis Enrique (former Spain international). Of these, PSG’s top priority is Zidane.
France’s GFFN reported on the 26th that “PSG management has identified Zidane as a top target. They failed to sign him last summer. They regret that they 메이저놀이터‘should have pushed harder’ to keep him at the time,” GFFN reported.
The outlet added: “They plan to make contact again this summer. Zidane, who is currently free, had been waiting for the France national team job, but France have signed Didier Deschamps to a new contract until 2026. It is possible that this could affect Zidane’s availability.”
“PSG have offered Zidane the top three salaries in the world for managers. They have not yet received a positive response from Zidane. If it doesn’t work out, they will turn to Mourinho,” he added, highlighting the desperate situation.
